system administrator
Born & raised in Mendoza, Argentina. I'm a system administrator,
graduated from Universidad Nacional
de Cuyo. As a sysadmin, my primary responsibilities involve managing and
maintaining the infrastructure that power the organization's operations. This include
installing and configuring new equipment and applications, monitoring and optimizing system
performance, automate recurring tasks and troubleshooting technical issues.
In addition, sysadmins play a critical role in ensuring the security
and integrity of the organization's data. This includes implementing and enforcing policies to protect
the data, as well as performing regular backups and have a disaster recovery
plan to ensure that our systems can quickly recover from any disruptions.
As technology continues to advance, the role of the sysadmins has become even
more critical in enabling organizations to stay competitive and agile in the digital
world. From managing the latest cloud-based infrastructure to implementing cutting-edge security
protocols, sysadmins are at the forefront of driving innovation and ensuring the success of
the organization.
The way I found to stay updated with the latest technologies and practices is by testing in my home lab.
There are also solutions I have implemented in my job that I think could be useful for anyone in my role.
